2015 EGSL AGM Meeting - (click here for more information)

The Elite Girls Soccer League will hold its annual AGM at the completion of the ECNL AGM in Seattle Wednesday, June 25, 2015 in Seattle, WA.

First and foremost, we extend our never-ending gratitude to Surf Cup for allowing the Champions for the EGSL an automatice entry in to Summer Surf Cup. This is a special event that teams try and get in to each year and where hundreds of teams are turned away, and we are very thankful that the leaders of this event believe in and support the premise of the EGSL and understand the importance of the Surf Cup entry for the Champions of the EGSL. The college exposure for the EGSL teams playing Summer Curf Cup will be beneficial to all of the players participating in this amazing event.

This past season, we saw the Jr. ECNL event held at the Cherry Island Soccer Complex in Sacramento which was a great event for the G12 and G13 teams from NorCal and SoCal that attended. We even had our friends from Nova FC in ID come play the event!

We added the Champions Division to the EGSL for the affiliate members and we added the G9 - G11 age groups to the league as a combined division for the main teams from both the ECNL clubs and the affiliate clubs. Adding the affiliates division was fostered from the realization that the affiliates program that many of our members have, is beneficial to all of the members and that the affiliates teams bring quality competition to the EGSL model. We believe we will continue to see this program grow.

EGSL teams had guaranteed acceptance in to the 2015 Las Vegas Players Showcase event which is one of the top college showcases in the country AND guaranteed acceptance in to the brand new Manchester City FC Americas Cup over Memorial weekend. We continue to develop relationships with top tournaments like these on behalf of our membership.

As the league continues to grow, not only local but out-of-state affiliates will be able to participate in the events to provide the best possible events for all of the players! We are looking forward to more exciting things for the 2015/16 EGSL season!
